Front fender install(anti-rub )tip
drill out the rear mount holes a lil bit,then push down on the front fender while tightening the bolts.Problem solved!!!I gather i dont need to show pics of my new paint burnt and bubbled!!!!![:@]
I think you mean pull up on the rear of the fender while tightening it.
Hi guys. first post. Great thread. I just finished putting the 21" on the front of mine and had a problem with rubbing. Saw in one of the previous posts that someone had redrilled the rear fender hole. Worked like a charm. I know the help was for someone else, but really came in handy. Thanks!!

Thats the cool thing about Harley's there is always some new mod to contemplate. Thats what makes your bike yours. I suggest you put on the new 21" front wheel and if you like the look you are set. If not you can always lower it later. I lowered my front end 2" and the back end I lowered an addition 1". I added the 21" wheel well after I lowered the bike, and to be honest it does take the corners much better with the added height from the 21" wheel.
Thx Trock. BTW love the SG. Have any of you guys put a significant amount of miles on it after you put the 21" on the front, but before you lowered?? notice any big difference?
