If you guys are so concerned about it getting wet, what do you do when it rains??

I'm not being a smartass, I dont have a bike with a CD player, I'm just curious more than anything.

It dosen't get that wet when it rains. We just don't want BIGTANK to give it a full force shot in the mouth and screw something up.

Just don't spray it with a hard shot of water. When I wash that area, I use the mist setting on the hose nozzle, which I believe someone had already mentioned. Been doing that for 6 seasons with this bike and no problems yet!

And stay out of the rain. don't won't it to get wet. Seriously though, just be reasonable when washing. Don't use a pressure washer and you will be ok.

When we wash jets, we put "wash tape" over everything we don't want water in. Unsealed panel edges, intake ducts, pitot static ports etc

If your that worried about it,just tape some saran wrap over the radio.
Been washing mine for for over 2 years.Water has sprayed on the radio many times and have had no problems.
