When I wash my bike, I wash it. Soap and water everywhere including the inner fairing, guages etc. Rinse it with a gentle spray, just like rain. Dry and ride.
Repeat when necessary.

I would agree with the folks that say theyonly spray the bike especially the inside of the fairing when very dirty. Just think about only enough spray to be the same as being in the rain. I use only the spot free rinse at the car wash. This way no spots and no issues with too much water. The radio isn't my only concern, I have sprayed alittle too hard and had some gauge issues until it all dried out. Otherwise the only thing I use, especially on my BLACK bike, is Mist "N Shine. It cleans paint and chrome leaving a great shine in one step. If you've ever seen the mass of wires, connections and components inside that fairing, you would never spray it again. LOL
