lying nuetral light
Got a buddy who started his biketoday thinking it was in neutral (neutral light indicator was on) only to find out that it was it fact in gear. By the end of the day the neutral light consistently lit when the bike was in second gear and did not light in neutral. What would cause this?

I am always leery of trusting that neutral light so I let the bike back up or roll forward a few inches just to set my mind at ease before I hit the starter button.

I always pull my clutch in when I start mine in neutral, a dealer saw me do that and told me that was hard on my bike doing that. I can't believe that is true and I still always pull in the clutch.
