I always pull my clutch in when I start mine in neutral, a dealer saw me do that and told me that was hard on my bike doing that. I can't believe that is true and I still always pull in the clutch.
it is harder on the bike if you are starting it with the bike in gear and just pull the clutch in.... but not if its in neutral.
