Default Neutral Light Issue

Took my 08 Ultra out tonight and I have no clue why this is happening. It was another warm day in Michigan and around 85-90 when I took the bike out. It was about dusk when I left the house. I have had this issue before under similar temps. When I up shift and get into third gear the neutral light will mostly flicker and at times stay on. When shifting into fourth the light will go out. Only happens when the outside air temp is 85+. Never ever have the issue if the weather is cooler than 80. Any ideas of what is going on with this?

I've got an '08 also. I have replaced the neutral switch twice. It will fix your problem. It will go bad again someday.
