that is a sweet looking bike mike... i actually am in the process of changing from pewter pearl to vivid black denim with pearl black denim racing stripes...
I saw the denim black and it just grew on me. i like it. i had heritage and switched to this bike...09 EGS denim black... I just wash it, no wax, gloss spray, etc. glass cleaner or wet hand mitt to get bugs etc, off. not high maintenance.

The denim colors look ok i guess, except for the Road Glide i saw in some kind of brown denim. Looked exactly like brown primer and we laughed at it. Ugliest Motorcycle i had ever seen. I don't know how they ever expected to sell that thing.
i wasn't a fan of the denim colors at all. then when looking for a streetbob in the shopper magazine, i found a blue denim 07 streetbob. after thinking about it, it came to me. that's a brilliant idea, everyone has a shiny bike, this is stupidly brilliant to come up with something that is different. i bought the streetbob, to trade it in a year later on my vivid black streetglide. but that denim type paint is cool in its own way. and whatever chrome you add to it really pops out at ya.
i have a 09 nightster in the two-tone silver and black that i'm going to custom paint. but before the custom paint job, i'm going to lightly scuff up the tin and put a couple coats of clear on it just to see if i like it better than the denim. i work in a body shop and have sum extra clear layin around so i thought i'd try it. i'll try and post sum pics. i love the denim finishes tho, i think they look awesome
I had a pewter denim Street Bob and loved the paint. I now have a black pearl SG and wish I had ordered it in pewter denim. I am thinking of having it shot with a matte clear.
