I have a two year old DOT. I love it, but I wanted D ring attachment instead of the buckle that came on it. Last month I stopped by their shop. They put in a new liner, three new pads, D rings, and a new DOT sticker. All no charge. How can you beat that?

I have their DOT helmet and love it. You can see it in my sig. pic. No mushroom head and it fits just fine.

They are great helmets, the only true 100% carbon helmet that I've been able to find. That said, they just don't fit me worth a damn. My wife bought me one for Christmas. I tried it on, wasn't happy with the fit and sent it back for the next smaller size. Got that one and it didn't fit any better than the first one so I sent it back too. In the end I was out $30 or $40 and had NOTHING to show for it. And when I'm talking about not fitting, I mean NOT FITTING! Mind you, I measured my noggin as advised on their web site but with both sizes, I was able to grab the front of the helmet and pull it completely off the front of my head and onto the back of my head and neck. It was clear that these helmets would never stay put in the event of an accident so I decided to stick with my inexpensive fiberglass DOT helmet that fit's like a helmet should.

Good luck but I wouldn't even consider buying one unless I could try it on first and after my experience, I'd say that for any helmet.

when i first got my DOT half shell from ACC I wasnt pleased with it, then when I was at Bike Week in Daytona llast year i rode over to their shop where theyreshaped it and adjusted the straps so that it stays put on my head and doesn't slide back like most do. A simple adjusting of the straps and a reshaping and it's good to go.

I've had their non-DOT for about 4 years. Had a bad wreck a year ago & hit right on the "bill" of my Polo helmet. Tore it up good. I sent it back to them and they inspected it for safety, fixed it like new, changed out the straps and liner and didn't charge me a dime! Erin at ACCwas very happy I was OK and that the helmet hit the ground at 45mph+ and not my head. Me too! Great product, great service!
