Hey everyone,
I'm about to take the plunge and invest in a Gramin quest 2 GPS for my Street Glide.....any comments suggestions? Is the screen large enough to see at a quick glance while riding?
Thanks!

I love mine. Quest 2 iss the way to go if you use MOCO's mounts. A very clean look and functions well. I've ridden 47K with mine and won't leave home without it! However, that said, the newer Garmin units may be the right choice if you do not intend to use the MOCO mount.

The Quest 2 is a nice unit, I had one for 2 years... That being said, I now have a Zumo 550, andwould never go back! There are real good deals on the Quest, but if you can spend the extra $$$ buy a Zumo. The large touch screenand other features are tough to beat!

You hit the nail on the head...I was wondering if the quest 2's screen would be too small.....other than that is it really worth the extra $$ and how abou t mounts...did you put it on your handle bars?

I have the Zumo 550 and I highly recommend it . Last year I rode 17,000km to Ohio in the west and Nova Scotia in the east. This thing is visible in bright sunlight and it has lots of extras that are very handy. For example, I like the digital speed readout and I also like the fact that I can switch from metric to miles when in the US. Having a car mount is also a bonus. It's not cheap but well worth the money if you do a lot of touring.
