I need a little more room on my 2008 Ultra Classic and wanted to know is the relocator kit any good? What are the pluses and minuses of having it? The only one I have found is Kuryakyn, are there others available.?
Thanks,
Zapps
This is the best idea. If you don't like the second set location, you can drill your own for free. The box is cheap ABS plastic. You can drill thru it with a sharp pencil if you need to. A little silicone for the old holes and life is good. OR you can blow $150 on a fancy bracket

I just used the other set of holes and gained a lot of room
Only do this if you're just going to carry your pillow around with you.

The George Anderson kit worked great for me.
Mama is very happy with lotsa room.
The install is not bad at all. Took about 30mins,
George's instructions make it pretty much idiot proof,
and that's what I needed.
Gained 3" for Mama and she loves it.[sm=lol.gif]

I must be an idiot then (hold the comments please) because I thought George's instructions were slightly less than adequate. I did enjoy the hand drawn illustrations though! I had better luck just laying out the parts and looking at them to figure out where they belonged.
