My oil light burned out and the stealer replaced it
and charged me $39.bucks to replace a $3.50 bulb!
I was mad as hell cuz, they did it and never even
called me to tell me it was a "wear" item not covered
under warranty. Crap! I could of changed that bulb myself
if I knew that! Had it in for the 5k service at time.
I raised a stink with them and told the service Mgr. if anything is not under warranty they should call me and
let me know before doing the work.
Bike is 6 monthsgez, what a rip.
Sorry, it just chaps me. Anyway just be aware it might cost you
if you let stealer do it.
Thanks for the info Trapskelly. I hadn't thought about it being a $40 wear item replacement at a dealer. It probably is just a bulb - I'll get one and one of these days I know I'll open up the fairing anyway to put an oil temp gage inplace of the air temp.
