I have been looking at the air vents that go at the bottom
of the fairing .They also open and close.
Wondering if anybody uses them and what you think,
Thanks

I traded in a Gold Wing for my '08 RG. The Wing had a windshield vent and I loved it. It reduced back pressure, but the best part about it was that on a hot day you could get a controlled amount of fresh air coming at you. I've ordered a Clearview shield with the vent for my RG.
I had the dark smoked adjusable air vents (part #58156-08) added to my SG when I bought it last December. They did seem to keep some of the cold air off on the morning commutes in January, February, and March. I like the way they follow the contour of the batwind fairing. I don't care too much for the looks of the other style (part #57804-07), but that's just me.

I have one Clearview screen for my Kawasaki Concourse. Excellent except it lets it some rain. Will be ordering a Clearview screen for the EG this weekend and will get one with the vent. Also have Dragon Wings on the EG- Fantastic
I'm using Dragon Wings & love 'em. Close them off in the winter for better wind protection, then open them up for the summer for fresh air. Definitely worth the money.
I replaced the fixed standard equip. wings on my 07 Ultra with the HD adjustable ones last Summer and wouldn't do without them, Summer or Winter. However, I do like the way the new models look.
