I too wish Kuryakyn would show a picture of their product mounted on bikes. Very helpful, especially when you're trying to figure out wich highway pegs to get.

I don't know about their racks, but everything else I've bought from them has been top shelf. Looking to put on their floorboards and dual position rider footrests as soon as I can clear it with the banker.

I've been looking around and honestly, the HD rack looks awesome on the SG. I'll be ordering mine next week when I get my "stimulus package" check.......lol

I have been debating wheter I need a rack or not being that I always ride solo and when on a road trip I use the passenger back rest as an anchor point for my bag...If I ordered one it would be the stealth from harley...

ORIGINAL: badjustbad

I ordered mine from M&M and had it ina little over a week, and I live in Alberta, Canada. Kuryakyn is obviously making and selling them now, which is something you can't say about Jardine. The reason I have the Kuryakyn rack is because I ordered the Jardine touring backrest and was told the rack that attaches to the the backrest would be in in a few weeks. Bull Sh*t... Jardine hasn't even made the rack yet. They need enough orders for the Road King model before they will build it (Apparently the earliest it will be available is late summer.). The problem Ihave in themounting points are now used up by the Jardine backrest so I needed a rack that didn't use the same mounting points, therefore the Kuryakyn rack.

The rack is high quality and looks great (far from cheesy) with my Corbin solo seat/pillon. I moved the license below the taillight so the back of the bike now looks like the FLHX. I had been looking for a rack for the Road King that mounted lower - it didn't need to clear the license plate anymore and I thought the lower center of gravity would be a bonus.

I originally wanted the Stealth rack, but I ride solo most of the time (solo Corbin, no rack) and I think the mounting of the Stealth rack is more permanent than the Kuryakyn rack (you replace the grab rail- correct?). I think I have the ultimate in flexibility when it come to rack options. I can put the Kuryakyn rack on in a few minutes when riding 2-up on vacation, or I can use the Motherwell rack with my solo seat if it's just me goin' it alone.

Note - The sticker on the rack says it is only rated for 10 lbs - not sure about the Stealth rack.
Can you post some pictures of this rack installed?

I agree with Monster, Stealth is Saaaaaaweet looking. Everyone comments about it to me. The lines on the Kuryakyndon't match the lines of the bike in my opinion.

I have used the stealthas a rack, definitely functional, and it sitsreal low which helps with stability of the "package" and the capablity of strapping a tall bag to the backrest.

However, a plus for the Kuryakyn rack, the rubber on top. I put a wrap (soft rag or old cotton tee) over the top of my stealth to stop un-necessary marks from rubbingon the chrome when I have something on it like my t-bag.

Comments all helpfull. If someone has the Kuryakyn mounted (are they even making this thing), Post some pics. I agree the Stealth rack is about the best looking. Anyone have a lead on the best price for the FLHX Rider's Essentials Kit (Don't realy need the Belt Buckle)??? Or pic of the FLHX Rider's Essentials Kit installed (w/ Pass Sissy Bar)

I'll see if I can find the time to put the Kuryakyn rack on the scooter this weekend. I'll post some pics if I do.

I took some quick pics after my ride this weekend. I didn't tighten the rack onto the bike, so the bottom half of each clamp mount is loose - the clamps look very good when tightened. Also note that the Corbin pillion for the solo seat extends quite far back which means I have to use the mount points that install the rack further back as well. If you have a different pillion that doesn't extend back as far as the Corbin the rack can be mounted in a more forward position.
