Had the same problem - high idle - over 1800 rpm. The "4 on" sequence works. Reset. Bike now idles at 1000 rpm. And yes, these FI bikes don't need any throttle to start. Keeping my hand off it after 20 years of starting a Shovelhead is hard!
I also overheard a mechanic say that one other problem is people are turning the throttle just slightly when they starting there bike and the pc is learning a new throttle position. They recommend not touching the throttle at start up.
Just another reason not to buy the greatest and latest thing on the market. Give it a year or two to work the bugs out.
