Yep, lots of us have done it....but they ain't 'soft bags', they are called 'hard leather bags'...they are leather stretched over plastic.....heritage softails have soft floppy bags. Your RKC and the RK Custom has hard leather bags.
Depending on year range, all hard bags will fit your classic with no additional parts or cost other than matching paint
.....search eBay for best deals.....also look for 'police bags' cause they too fit perfectly but have really neat top latches that make them lots easier to open....plus you can replace the large twisty **** on top of police bags with sleek looking push button latches like i did.
If you are looking for non Harley aftermarket hard bags, then any that will fit a harley touring bike will fit your classic(depending on year range)
