Hopefully some of ya get a laugh out of this but I am new to the bagger seen after a couple years on a sporty. Picked up a 2003 FLHTI a week ago and I noticed thatthere appears to be stereo controls on the bars. Is the wiring for the radio already on the bike?? Hows about the speakers? Thanks to anyone that can clue me in.Would surely make install alot easier if I decide to put in some tunes.
If the wires are there you would still have to have a compatible radio to use them. Speakers are likely not there but pulling the front fairing off will tell you for sure.
Nateman,
The wiring should all be there, it was on my 2005 Electraglide standard. I would recommemnd going to Biketronics www.biketronics.com. Mike has kits all made up so it is pretty much a plug in deal and all the controls will work. Great people to do business with. I think everyone on this site that has done business with them will agree.
