Always wear a lid, generally an HD beanie. Wear the gear whenever I ride. Have a full face Fulmer Modus for really cold weather and long trips.
Tried an experiment in 100+ heat last year and found that the mesh jacket was cooler in the city than a tank top. The kevlar chaps are cold in the winter & I'll be getting some heavy leathers for next fall.
