I'm curious how many bagger riders wear protective gear in hot weather. Leather jacket and chaps feel great in cool/cold weather but not so sure I can handle 90+ and leather.
Leather w/armour or mesh w/armour. Helmet - even though we have an option in this state. Don't care what others do, but fer me, iffen yer on mah bike, yer wearin' a lid.
Mesh in the summer. Helmet too. I like my skin wear it is; prefer to not leave it on the pavement. Jeans, but thinking about jeans with armor. Gloves, yes! When I took the Advanced Rider Course one of the guys dropped his bike on a training turn... it landed on his finger... open tipped gloves. Crushed bloody finger! The instructor used it as a reason why he always wears full finger. Who knows, there's risk and clearly some of us are willing to take more. I wear full leather, full face, full gloves when it is cool.
