Well, last year I changed the windshield to a lower ,tinted aftermarket model.Two months later it's got a crack on the right-side hole.Okay,I figured I snugged it up too much,ordered another one.I was pretty careful putting this one on,sure as hell this one has a crack in it ,on the left-side.Now I have a new one coming(different vendor) and I got to know,this can't be that hard to do.Change hardware from one to the other,sounds simple,any tips? At this rate I'm gonna have a new windshield every three months.

Do you mind sharing the vendor where you got the windshields? I am looking at getting one for my RKC.

If you are using Harely windshields that doesn't suprise me, I've had a couple of cracked ones. If you want to get a good windshield purchase either a Clearview or a Memphis Shades brand they are much thicker.
