gas prices
Hey all;
With gas prices approaching unheard of levels and the requirement
of using 91 Octane fuel would it make sense to buy the cheap gas
and add an octane booster?
I just filled up here today (Western Canada). Imperial gallon gas was 6 bucks, 5 bucks for US gallon
(thats 1.419 per LITRE and 5.37USD gallon or 6.44 Cdn Imperial gallon) Cdn dollar basically at par.
I know running with lower octane could/will cause long term problems (the occasional tank is ok)
but would the booster work?
Anybody try this?

Just pay the difference and get the good stuff.
In the long run you won't save any money by adding octane boost.
It will be less than a buck a fill up for the price difference on premium.
