Does anyone know of a company that makes or anyone who has modified the harley chrome lower wind deflectors to fit a streetglide. I loved them on myroadking i was hopeing to find something for the streetglide.
On the streetglide the turn signals are mounted on the forks so the wind deflectors interfear with turn signals. No way to get around it but cut the deflectors but i think it may weaken them to much and may brake in the wind.
I have a friend who is really interested in this thread, he asked me the same question. He was looking into cutting the deflectors, but that would have created several weak points in the deflector.
I have them on my SG and love them. I did have to modify them and they are against the back of turn signals,(I have the Custom aux. lights installed) this could be alleviated by drilling a hole where the point of the bullet signal hits the deflector. they also contact the highway bar at the same time the forks hit the stops. this would also be alleviated by drilling the hole to allow the deflector to be a bit more forward. Now these things do not bother me as the benefit of the deflectors far out weigh the other . will try to post pics tonight
