Steve, Pro One makes a couple nice chromed billet covers that fit the Doherty filter nicely. They have a smooth & a ball milled version, here's the one I got:

3 coats of black paint went on the endplate tonight, looks much better now. Installed it with the chrome skull air cleaner endcap/insert, and the look is much better then with the bare metal.

I run the Doherty billet smooth cover when I want an open look, and also have the HD chrome 8" round cover when I am riding long distance and want the filter protected a bit.

Your bike is always clean! Looks great Steve!

I love my Doherty PP w/Vents. I just go outside and stare at it.

Thanks!

I avoid rain riding and dirt roads................those are my 2 biggest pet-peeves on the bike.

I ran a vent line tonight for the powervents, doing some 80+ mph riding on the highway I was still getting some oil misting and it was making a mess. Normal riding, I wasn't getting any oil at all............but my commute to work is all highway and I can't take having oil on the bike.

What size vent line is required to ensure proper flow?
I used 1/4" fuel line, ran lines from each powervent to a "T" then ran a single vent line down to the ground.
