I talked w Lyndall today regarding the 2008 R Glide w/ ABS.
I wanted to know if their composite rotors were compatible with the new Brembo ABS on this bike. It is.
I also found that they are making high grade SS rotors, full floating, for this bike. I believe he said 'baggers', but I cannot recall the year. These rotors are much higher tollerance / run out than stock, which is the problem I am experiencing on my bike at 5500 mi. They weigh 3.25 lbs, compared to stock at 4.25? and 2.5 lb for composite ( or is it 1.6)?
They have made up about 25 sets of these. The disc is about 325 ea. compared to the composites at $560 ea.
Now what if the R glide would stop with one composite rotor up front and a set of gold z pads...
