I got my Hogtunes for my bike in 06. Man did they sound good. But they havent held up. I e-mailed Pez about it. I'm sorry people, but I am not into playing e-mail tag. Eith your going to honor your warranty or your not. The speaker are blown. I understand nobody wants to take a product back. But if thats the case, thesay so whensomeone buys them from you. Its called "sold as is".I took them out and put the originals back in. They sound so much better than the Hogtunes were sounding. Could not hear anything when the bike was just at idle.It too bad they ,did sound good for awhile. Guess I'll try a pair of J&m speaker. Maybe they will love to play GodSmack.
I am wondering what to do myself as far as an upgrade. I don't want to spend $800 just for speakers and an ampfromHawg Wired.
But they do get loud and sound awesome!! Highly recommended!! [sm=smiley20.gif]
JMHO and .02
I'm sure you are right. I just dished out $4000 in pipes, paint and a backrest. I gotta stop for now. Maybe I will just wait til next year and do it right with hawg wired

Hmmmmm. You're the only person I've heard of getting the "wrong end of the stick" from Pez. I do believe he's a one man show, so maybe you just need to be a little more patient. Frustrating? Absolutely. I'd be ticked too. If you haven't talked to him, how is it he's not honering his warranty? Not every product in a production setting will be perfect. Maybe you just ended up with the1 in XXXXXX that has an issue.
Every other forum where I've seen Pez interact with customers, it's been very proffessional and more than reasonable.
Btw, I've had mine ince '06 as well and they till sound great. Been thru all kinds of crap with them.
