I just put a detachable King Tour Pak on my RG, The tour pak came with an antenna mount on it. I have purchased the reloaction kit to move the existing mount down to the rear fender/saddle bag support Part #76208-07 because when the Pak is off the bike I didnt want it hitting my passenger back rest/luggage rack. I dont want to buy the 99 dollar reloaction kit because all I need from it is the adapter and the what 2' length of antenna cable. I dont need any of the other parts included.
Where can I find a short antenna cable that will work without spending a C-Note on it?
+ infinity for Dawg. I was just at the HD store and had them print out a bunch of kit installation/parts breakdowns for the various antenna kits, but not the one that includes the CB cable. The parts are available for seperate purchase, typically. Sorry to hear of your OOPs.
i too have a detachable TP.....when its on, i rotate the antenae down....looks like a curb feeler but works real good....the bracket has 2 bolts, take one out and spin it around...mine is 12" long
