Are these particular SE slipons "okay" or not really? They have a decent sound, but sure aren't very loud compared to my last bike (Dyna with Short Shots and no baffles.)
Okay to who? If YOU like the sound there OK. But don't listen to me, I LIKE the sound of my stock pipes.

When I asked if these slipons are "okay", I meant in general. Performance, quality, etc... Not really the sound. I didn't make that clear, because I then went on to talk about the sound. They sound "okay" to me, but I need more time with them. I like the sound of the Rush 2.50" baffles on the Rush site more, though. I know that.

Those are my se slip ons. nothing like the new ones. good sound, plenty of bark when I want to wake up the neighbors but quiet enough to put thru the center of town. They bring a premium price on ebay.

I've got very similar model if not the same on my Roadie. Different direction on the slash. They sound okay to me. I would like something with a little more racket to them. I'm considering the fuel moto Rush slip-ons. I've got the SE intake. I will be buying the Power Commander from fuel moto as the bike runs a bit lean and I get some decel popping. Hoping to clean that up.

Glad we helped solve your mystery.

If they say that they are legal for street use, then they would be just Screamin' Eagles. The Screamin Eagle II's are not street legal and say so on the bottom of them.

Hi Sarge: Those numbers say a whole lot. I ride a FLHPI 02 model. The previous owner took off the 80 decible police mufflers and put the current mufflers on. Nice and loud but not enough to get stopped for noise. Recently I changed the end tips . I had to remove the mufflers to do it. I got a real good look at the Pt #'s and also the following information. These mufflers were originally for an 80 inch Evo engine but run real fine on the TC88 or 95 not sure which and the first thing I thought of was they must have punched out or removed the baffels.Anyhow the end shot looks the same as the picture. Thought I would share that . Adios for now T.J.

Ahhh, okay. Thanks! THese say they're not legal for street use, so they must be SEIIs. I just got back from riding today and I've come to the conclusion that I like the way they sound. Not quiet, but not blaring loud. Real nice low end rumble. They're staying!
