I was told these are Rush slipon mufflers, but can anyone tell if that's true? It has the whole street legal disclaimer on the top of them, but I don't see where it says the maker anywhere. Do these look like Rush slipons or something else? This is on an '04 Road King Custom.
I have purchased three sets of Rush pipes, 1 for my bike and two friends. No weld at the front of Rush pipes, and the end of the baffle is different than what you have pictured. I would say they are not Rush slipons.
Look like the screaming eagles on my Road Glide. I had the same problem trying to figure out what I had buying the bike used.
Above the disclaimer area look for a series of numbers. It'll be 5 or 6 with a dash and 2 numbers. Write it down and simply plug the number into a Google search (at least that's what I did) and see if that gets you an answer.

Good Luck.
Cool, thanks. I had the saddlebag off at 1:30am to take those pics, but I was apparently too tired (or stupid) to realize there was a model number there. lol! I'm an idiot.
I think you guys may be right about them being Screamin' Eagle. I found a pic on eBay that ALMOST showed the baffle and it looked similar to the three holes in mine. I'll go look for that model number now and report back.
Are these particular SE slipons "okay" or not really? They have a decent sound, but sure aren't very loud compared to my last bike (Dyna with Short Shots and no baffles.)
They look like the SE slipons I used to have on my 03. Lost them as a result of an accident (not my fault, I am OK). If those are the old style SE slip ons, I ran them for years and liked them. They weren't the loudest by any means, but they had a good sound and were definitely louder than the new SE slip ons.
Sure enough, there was a model number that points to SEs. 64910-99
Now I'm wondering if these are good or not. It's not super quiet and not loud. Somewhere in the middle. Like I said above, I kinda wouldn't minda little more volume, but not sure if I'll replace them.
The part #'s that end in 99 are for parts that were originally introduced in 99'. This is good. If it ended in 06' it would be the new style, more EPA friendly (quieter).
It will more than likely also say something like " intended for off road use only".
If it does, thes are the slip-on mufflersHD sold thousands and thousands of sets of with SE breathers to enhance power and give folks the Harley sound.
Very popular. I have a set I took off my bike and won't part with them cause they are discontinued and figure I'll want them for some bike some day.

Yep, these are clearly the SE mufflers! Thanks guys! Would these be SE1s or SE2s? Heck, I don't care that much, just wondering. I read a little about these slipons and apparently they're pretty sought after compared to the newer models. I saw where some people posted they were too loud, but I definitely don't get that! You can hear them, but I wouldn't call them loud???
I'm going to take off the air cleaner cover today to see if that's the SE high flow model. It's clearly a high flow, because there's no backing plate. But I don't know if it's SE or what.
