I thought the point was to be able to actually drink the beverage while riding the bike?
I know, I know...it's unsafe to take your hands off of both bars while you are riding. I'm sure none of you have ever ridden for a coupe of seconds with only one hand.
If you think that's hard, try shaving while you're riding...what a PITA.
If I remember right it was 49.00 dollars for the non-chrome one. I think the chrome one is 69.00 dollars. Your best bet is to call them and get a price.
Digger
Thanks for the come back on prices, how ever when I've looked all over the web site I couldn't find a phone number either!
Do you actually have one of these cup holders? If so how did you order it?
I always have my 20 oz mug on the way to work. And crave it when I take the scoot. The only solution I have come up with is to drink it before I leave. Too many idiots and bumps in the roads for me to worry about drinking and spilling a hot cup of coffee on me while riding.
I had a Cruizer Caddy at one time and it ended up getting thrown out. While you think the swiveling would be a benefit, it isn't. And the space for holding the actual cup is so small, i was unable to find a cup to fit it. At least something more than about 5 oz. I like the look of that Big Boy to switch the sizes of the mug. My togo mug changes every morning and it's never the same size. And seeing as how i emptied most of the coffee into my bags the other morning, i'm hesitant to even try that again. [:@]
Used to think I needed a cup for the ride,The fun factor is just too high, having to mess with drinkingcoffee while riding just doesn't cut it for me.A friend just bought a holder from JP Cycles
Try the Butler Cup at www.glassact.com The most functional cup for riding I've ever seen. Not the nicest looking rig but works well. I had one but it went with the bike (Goldwing) when I sold it. I think they are even making a chrome mount now, so that should make it a little easier on the eyes.
