Default Temporary Sitcker -- Where do I put it?

I decided to by the National Park Pass this year because we are probalby going to hit 4 to 5 parks and it covers both bikes.

The lady on the phone said we can get stickers for the bikes (so you don't have a placard to steal). Where would you put it? Is there a cheap attachement to stick it on?

The easiest that I have found is to attach a thin piece of aluminum to one of the license plate bolts. I have also seen the decal placed on the tail light lens if it is small enough or on the headlight trim ring, both of these seem a little tacky though. I am sure anyone out there in the military would have a good suggestion since they have stickers to get the vehicle on base.

It's only good for a year so I want to be sure it's not permenant. Considered front fork area (needs to be seen by gates)...hmmm...maybe I'll do a search for the inspection sticker holders.

Try J&P Cycles they have sticker plates that bolt on with the crash bar. I had a peice of stainless made up for my base sticker and bolted it on using the existing hardware with no problems.

front fork, clear packing tape on the front (cut to fit), double sided on the back works for me!

Stick it to the back of your helmet. I have seen this done before.

I think I would laminate it and put it in the windshield bags.

In the past, I've applied similar stickers to a piece of clear, static-cling sign material and then stuck that to the inside of my windshield when needed.

If you can't find any locally, let me know and I'll send you a piece as I still have several feet of the stuff.

I make them for the folks at work (army)
Small piece of aluminium plating cut in shape of said sticker w/ bolt hole attach it to available bolt.

OR I have done this too.
Go to the craft store buy the sheet magnet. (like in your fridge) Or takeone off your fridge.Put the sticker on it trim and place it on your bike when needed. Unlessthey closely inspect it. It looks stuck to the bike. Our front fenders are metal.

The magnet idea is a good one...but I don't want it to be too easy to steal. I think as long as we have the card we are good but they say if you pass is stolen you have to buy a new one...

I'll have to see what I can do with the scrape metal..and where I can place it....I have no idea what size the sticker is...guess I'll have to call them.
