You would not by chance have a K&N or K&N like filter which requires filter oil would you? I have seen people put to much oil on the filter after a service, and it gets a thin layer of oil all over the parts in that area. The problem that I am talking about is quite common.

Yes, I have a K&N filter. So maybee I should check the filter also. I don't know how much oil there should be on the filter, but I suppose it shouldn't be dripping. I will check it tomorrow to.
Wash filter,let hang and dry overnight.
Lay filter flat and spray lightly with oil, ONE SIDE ONLY
If you missed any spots,lightly touch up with oil spray.
Hang filter and let any excess oil drain off.
I've never had any air filter oil leakage problems,when done this way.
