I live in Texas, so they have to come off, no choice in this heat. I'll probably leave them on for a few more weeks just in case I get caught in the rain going to work, but then they'll come off and spend the summer up in the attic.
Same here, but they go in the spare bedroom. I would be afraid of putting them in the attic. It gets so hot up there, I would be afraid of them warping...
On always. All the way to Sturgis last August. 12 days of 100 degree plus weather, and I would want to ride without them.
On the highway, no buffeting. In the rain, an obvious asset. As said before, if your stopped, your stopped. Hot air rises.
AND, they look better on than off!
I figure there must be a reason for the lowers..so I leave them on.
My thighs burn anyhow at a stop light...at least I can keep 'burn
creme' in the lowers storage pouch.
