Well, my last thing to get my "other woman" (until my wife calms down) is a rear tire and brakes. I have decided to get the black wall Dunlop because I am sick-and-tired of trying to clean those dang thin striped white walls. Also, I am changing my back brakes to Lyndall Z Pads. (I was going to go for the sprocket cover.....but, I am unblinged for now...see previous post). My sprocket is going to be naked for at least another 12K. Sad.
Just a thought, but I would check out the Metzlers. I just put one on the back of mine and its quite nice. It seems to not squirm so much on grooved pavement like the Dunlop did. Just a thought.
RUSS....When was the last time you gave the wife a little "BLING".... Even flowers go a LONG WAY!!!!....AND DONT FORGET MOMS DAY!!!! I know its tough for us mid-western boys because of the rough winter we had but the wives come first....at least we need to let them think that RIGHT!!!! If Momma aint happy, NOBODYS Happy!!!! Good Luck!!!!... JAKESTER.TIM...(AKA DR PHIL)
I'm changing to black wall Avon Venoms. I don't think they make a thin white wall rear tire for the Ultra. Only a wide white. I don't want that. So black it is.
Ah went w/the Michelins - ain't done a report on 'em yet 'cuz ah jest installed 'em this past week, but so far ah LAHK 'em! Then again, ah ain't happy less'n mah boards is draggin' an' mah mileage is in the mid-30's....
