Default Clearview ?

I am 5'9" and riding an 08 Ultra
Iwant to switch over to a 8" Recurve, I think the 9.5 will be too high for me
I am trying to decide on
Smoke Tint
Dark Grey Tint
Black Tint

Any thoughts

I am 5'9" as well and have an 8" recurve on my 08 SG and I love it, makes all the difference in the world over the 4" stock shield, I see well over it and there is no buffeting anymore!

I have the dark grey and think it is as dark as I would want to go especially for night riding. I think you would have a hard time seeing through the black. I'm 6'3" and have the 9 1/2 and love it. At 5'9" I'm thinking the 8 would be the best choice for you. Buy it, you will love it.

I have an 8" smoked with recurve. It is just right for me at 5'9" But since you already have a stock windshield on your Ultra, get a piece of masking tape and follow the procedure on Clearview's website to determine for sure what height windshield is right for you.
