Removing a tach from an FLHP-I (FLHRPI isn'tan actualmodel)is pretty easy. Remove your headlight and trim ring, and right behind it is a few wiring harnesses. Find a harness with 3 wires coming out of it, and disconnect it, replace your headlight, and you're done. To completely remove the tach, you can remove the riser cover, and you may be able to slip it through, but if you cannot, you'll need to remove the entire nacelle, and trim. A good site to see other tips related to police bikes is www.flhpi.com

On all 2007 and newer Tourers including the Police models.....the "I" was dropped from all designations...."I" was for fuel injected....Now it is just FLHP, FLHTP and FLHPE. The "E" in the last designation is for a California Compliant Police Roadking.
