Here's a front view of the tach. For the tach I bought: 68986-04 mini-tach 139.95, 67524-04 housing 19.95, and 67231-04 bracket 51.95. To make it fit on the RK Custom, I also had to buy a 67866-03 handlebar cover 98.45 and a 67868-03 nacelle trim piece 26.62, both from a standard RK. If you've been keeping track, total list price is about $337.00 (but well worth it IMO). With 20% off it will cost about $270. You remove the stock RK Custom windscreen and replace the handlebar cover and the nacelle trim with the above parts. You will have to drill (2) holes into the handlbar cover to mount the bracket and the rest is easy. I should also add that it fits just fine behind the detachable windshield.
sgu500,
Man that is what I call service!!! Thank you for taking the time to list the parts (w/codes and price) and different angles to view the tach. It does look great! That will definitely be an upcoming mod. I was worried about the detachable windshield (I have the standard RK). BTW, I like your saddle bag guards. I have not seen them on our bike model. Thanks again, talk to you later.
