Anybody use Lid Haulers http://www.ridetek.com/ Can the bags be used with a passenger or do they totally interfere with thier legs? Still haven't changed my sig picture. these would be for a EG Classic.
I got a set awile back for mine have only used them once but i like em good for straping lite stuff on top but i don't think theyll work with the lid lights though and i'm not sure of the passager i don't think there in the way to much but my bagger set up for solo so i'm not 100%
I bought a set along with the stuff sack that they sell for my sleeping bags. I also have the kuryakyn passenger arm rests that take up some space over the top of the lids but thestuff sacksare still secure. They seem to work fine so far and because the stuff sacks sit out a little farther from the passenger it doesn't take up so much space. Getting on and off the bike is done the same. Bottom line is I like them and they suit my needs perfectly!

Could you please clarify this? I know you have passenger rails. Without the rails, Would the passenger be crowded? Would they interfere with the passengers legs? Interfere with their comfort?
I have been mulling over this setup and finally just pulled the trigger. I found tthe best deal on eBay from M&M Cycles The saddlebag covers (2) and roll bags (2) for $139.95 plus S/H. Such a deal.
I am scared to load my 'bags' alone...being supported by that little
'spring' on the inside let alone load another 10lbs on top.
It does look like a nice product, but I don't trust the fastening springs
to hold too much....
