As for the wheels...it took about 3-4 weeks (approx. I can't remember exactly when I placed the order) from when I ordered them with Bart to get to my door, but I'm also up in Canada, and it always takes a little longer.
i was gonna mount the wheels last night, but when I realized I couldn't get the calipers off, I stopped, didn't want to be out a bike for the weekend, hopefully I can pick up some sockets this afternoon, maybe tonight get them on.
Update,
Went to install the wheels this afternoon, everything going Ok untill I try to test fit the front wheel. The bearings in the wheels are smaller than the axles! Just a little P/O at the moment. I don't really want to put the stock wheels back on, I'd have to switch the rear pulley and rotor again, and I'm not sure what the fix is at this point aside from changing the bearings.
Oh well, have to put in a call to Bart...I'm sure he'll take care of me.
Just needed to vent, this build has been a real pain the #&%$&%^. After much confusion, it appears there was a mix up on the rims and the ones they sent me were for an 08, which has 25mmbearings and a different inner spacer. Now I'm told the stock 07 bearings and spacer will work, but I'm having a bitch of a time trying to get the bearings out. So I started working on my air ride, but I'm missing some of the parts, like the instructions and also the air line from the compressor to the distribution block. So I started working on the DTT, and couldn't get the o2 sensors out of the headers. GRRR!
To top it all off, this bike is a pain to work on with the mix of standard and metric, I never know what tool to grab. I'm sure it will get better as I get to know it, but nonetheless it adds to the aggravation.
I borrowed a puller from a buddy of mine, but it didn't work, I guess I'll have to bring them to a Harley shop, where they should have the right type of puller, I'm just leary about them working on these new chrome wheels, don't want them to bugger them up.
