need some help opening file

need some help opening file

My dealer sent me the Map he tuned into my bike via email and I cant open it, I am using a Vista version of windows and dont know my *** from the perverbial hole in the ground when it comes to computers. Can someone send me in the right direction, will copy paste the extension.

Thanks I will try to figure out how to attach the link, the message I am getting id " Do you want to save this file or find a program online to open it".

Does the file end with a .MT6 ? If that is the case you would need to have the SERT program installed on your computer in order to read the file.

+1. The map file isn't something similar to a Word document. It takes their software to open it up where you can look at the spec's.

Yes I installed the software from the disc that came with the Super SERT, it wont let me update though, says cant find internet connection. When I click okay another screen comes up and says I need administrator privleges to install software, strange.
