Zanotti order came but....
it's missing parts. My Zanotti order was dropped of yesterday. I get back in town tonight. Scurry to the shop to open the box (it's just like Christmas morning as a kid). Open the box and start ooing and aawing over my new stainless brakelines and parts. I am thinking how great is this, I will be able to tear the fairing off, change out my bars to my new Wild 1's 575 bagger bars, put on my new extended cables and brake line and get a test ride in tomorrow. I am looking at the parts, thinking there is something missing, it's my tranny gasket. I ordered 2 so I would have a spare in the toolbox. They weren't in the box. They were listed on the invoice and I was charged for them, but they weren't shipped. I have already emailed Zanotti's, but that doesn't make up for the fact that my project is delayed even longer. I won't have a chance to work on the bike for another 2 weeks.

i agree, if you use the original gasket you have 2 possibilities: one, it works fine and you get to ride with your new stuff (and have 2 gaskets on hand when they get them to you), or two, you put your new stuff on, go for a test ride and find that you have a leak, then you can fix that in 2 weeks... seems like a good shot to me...

Did they tape the gasket in between a piece or 2 of cardboard?They always did that for me, and its easy to miss for sure...If not, no big deal, get the bars on and re-use of if nned be. Should be fine.
