2000 RK with a little over 52K on it.
Started leaking at about 20,000 and had the inner seal replaced when I did the cams.
Just recently started to leak ever so slighly again but can't tell from where and really don't feel like tearing it apart right now.
Annoying but since it's just a dot, I'm going to leave mine alone.

Krusr
I wish I could, "leave mine alone",but it drives me crazy, even though it's only one or 2 drops a day. I guess I would have had a hard time back in the day when all Harleys leaked.
I have a 2003 RK Police and it leaks where the tranny and the inner primary meet. Its Tranny oil because I can tell by the viscosity and the smell. Its a few drops a day and I check the tranny oil level and its still good. I know its not the primary as I run ATF there and its red in color. I know what seal it is (On the starter shaft) and it requires tearing the whole primary off. Just need to set a day aside to do it. I figure I'll replace my clutch at the same time.
I got lucky, Same type leak but covered under extended warranty, the tech said he replaced all the seals but felt it probably was the starter shaft seal. 15000 miles on my odometer.
Shifter seal is probably the culprit. I have the exact same thing and it was a real bitch to find it. I cleaned everything off and went for a long ride, came home and put it up on the lift and got underneath with a flashlight and mirror and found it. Your best bet is to pull the inner primary and change ALL the seals including the ones on the tranny...seals are cheap labor is not. Its recommended you use Cometic shifter shaft seal when replacing.
Mine was like 2kids said, the shifter seal on the trans. Buy all new seals when the time comes and maybe even think about replacing your primary chain adjuster shoe while you have the primary cover off.
What a PITA to replace a $5 seal! My replacement seal seemed to be beefier than the stock one we pulled. Hopefully, it will not leak again for some time.
