Red E Glide had a good point it seems that I have the most problems with mine is at a slow speed with the front brake. Me and the Mrs just about went down in Sandsprings OK, it did not help matter much when she was trying to step off the bike. It did not go down but it was close.
Well, coming from several smaller metric bikes, I can understand. I had the opportunity to rent several HD's before I bought my king. It did take me some miles to get use to it, but now I honestly feel like this bike can manuever better than any of the other bikes I have been on. Heck, even when I added the 18" apes, I thought I was going to have a rough time at slow speeds, but found with a little time in the saddle, I can actually perform at slow speeds better than before...
Give it time...You might surprise yourself... However, if your mind is set on changing rides, and the options are a fatboy and heritage, I say the heritage, hands down. I rented both, and that heritage was a fantastic bike. If the OL and I were not as fat as we were, I would have bought one. Seriously. The way you sit into the bike is unlike any other HD I have been on... Heck, I loved it... but again, just did not look right with me and the OL on it...
