Default Mirrors for Apehangers

I just put a set of 16' apes on my 02 roadking and would like to mount the mirrors upside down (under thecontrols instead of over) but that isn't possible with the stock mirrors. if anyone has this set up and could provide some suggestions for the mirrors you used, let me know. I don't want to spend alot of money so please, no billet suggestions. just a good pair of chrome mirrors, similar to the stock ones,at a reasonable price, that will mountunderneath the controlsand be functional (sit clear of the cables, etc).

Thanx.

I run 16" apes on my'05 RKC and I went to an Arlen Ness mirror from Eastern Performance that ran about $75. They are mounted on the top but look very clean. The stock ones were up there a ways for sure! I'm not sure if you will be able to see with them on the bottom. My $.02. Good Luck

The stock mirrors WILL work you just have to put the right mirror un der the LEFT side and the left mirror under the RIGHT side. Done it several times with both old and new style stock mirrors!

You can use the stock mirrors, no problem. I have 18" apes, and just flip/switched mine. They look a lot better than on top, IMO. And, they are fucnctional...

I did flip the stock mirrors (put left on right side and vice-versa) but couldn't seem to get the mirror where I needed it because of the angle of the stem. I'll try again when I get home.
Thanx guys.
