Default Highway peg mounting kit offset.

Need some advice! I ride an '05 RK Classic. I'm 5'10" and weigh about 225+-. My question is: The Highway peg kit shown in the '06 H.D. catalog show an " Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting kit" in both long and short offsets. Given my average height and weight and not really wanting to look like I'm on a gynocological table with my feet facing the moon. What is the general consenus out there, " Long or Short offsets??? Thanks for the help.

I am about the same height, not sure how long your legs are but I just installed short arm highway peg mounts on my Ultra. They are a perfect fit.

I have the Kuryakin long offset style on mine and am 6'1" with short legs 32" inseam. I like the vesatility of the longer brackets, they offered me more adjustability in position. I am still "tweeking" the position of my pegs and dont think that the short arm would have given me what I needed.

I have these and I love them http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3251.They have plenty of adjustment. But don't buy them from Kuryakyn (to damn expensive). You can get them cheaper from http://www.mandmcycles.com/homepage.htm Good luck in the search.

I am 5'9" and I have the long angle mounts on mine. They fit me just right, the short one were still somewhat of a stretch for me to reach comfortably.
