Default HD Alarm System

I have an 06 Street Glide. Can anyone out there advise whether or not it is pre-wired for the factory alarm system? Is it plug and play? Cost? Worth the $$$? Ok, no more questions. Thanks in advance.

I'd say it is worth it. I'ts nice not having to fool around looking for a key in your pocket it's convienence plus a piece of mind thatyour bike will be there when you get back!

Thanks for the replies. Any idea on cost? It's kind of hard to determine it from the HD P&A Catalog. Thanks ...

If you do a search on alarm systems, you'll find out that someone figured out how to wire in a radio shack siren for under $20 I think.

The security isbuilt intothe turn signal module part# 68200-00D $269.95 from the moco. Just pull the old one out and plug the new one in. Comes with good instructions for programming the fob.
It makes life easy.

You might look at the Digital Gard Dawg. No alarm but it disables the starter without the key fob. $150 and a 15 minute install.

I would check out discountbiker.com in Clermont, FL for the basic system under $200!! Then if you wan the noise you can add the radio shack siren mod.
