I have the same thing on my cell phone.... this stuff is tough as heck....
I do need to get some for my side covers (womans foot rubbs) and I like the idea of the front of the bags.... Come on we all know those fronts take a beating... I'm still waiting for my bike to come back from repairs but, it's not to bad as I'm also waiting for my knee to heal from surgery.... I stopped in the other day and they sent my inner fairing back out to paint as there was flaws in the paint.... Can you believe it... a HD shop taking the time to look at parts before they install it..... Go figure whats next? They lower there prices?...... NAH...
So the point was brought up about waiting for paint to fully cure.... What is the approximate time for that to happen?
The film DOES go to all the way to the edge... read the reply I made to that same question earlier in the post. Even to the edge, there will still be a line where the film ends... But, if that still isn't working for you, I guess scuff marks and boot scratches would look better[sm=confused06.gif]
The guy that painted my front fairing, which was then clear coated, said not to wax it for a month. I take that to also include applying Hawg-Armor. I just hope I don't get any chips in the mean time.
just cant make any of you happy, can we !!!!!!!! if you dont like boot and shoe scuffs on your lids, then buy the product, it you dont, leave it for someone else tp buy, as for wax build up arond the edges, do a better job of cleaning the wax off when you wax it, dont be so lazy....................Mikey has a great product here and it does what is made to do, go ride your bike and get it dirty
Mike, I have an '08 FLHTP. The saddle bags have the hockey pucks, and the re-enforcing plates on the front and back near the top. Would I have to cut the pieces to fit, or do you make some just for those bags?
