Hey all, got a friend of mine that has replaced his air temp guage with a compass, and he is stating to me that it is not working, anyone else have this problem? He thought that he heard that HD has discontinued this product, although it is still in the 08 catalog.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
It has to be calibrated by setting the zone your in and riding a series of consistent circles clockwise and counter clockwise. It takes a full minute of riding the circles to get it to calibrate and if you dont ride CONSISTENT circles at a CONSTANT speed it WONT calibrate! I have the full procedure if anyone is interested I will post it!
HD has had nothing but problems with the compass.
The Ambiet Air is well...kinda useless.
the Oil Guage is good, however it takes an additional "kit" to install it.
They are just guages to fill holes on the fairing.
