Found a pencil style gauge, but it is only half as long as the normal kind. Allows me to get the angle right so I can get a decent reading on the back tire. They had them up at the register for like $3. Works fine. Has a little magnet so it sticks to the metal pin in the saddlebag so I do not lose it.
I got one of the HD models for a Christmas present a couple of years ago. It has a depth gauage too. $29.95 retail. Yes, it's too expensive, but I didn't buy it.
+1 on this HD guage.. works nice as far as fit is concerned and keeps the reading untilyou zero it,and feels solid and I "think" it is accurate.
Havenât used it myself but my brother uses a cap that transmits the air and temp to an gage mounted on his faring. Thinking of picking up a set for mine.
I wanted to add this to my previous cycle but didn't have the money. I've heard mixed reviews. Can anyone who uses/used it comment on quality/usefulness/accuracy?
Made my own along the same lines as the HD and progressive no loss air shock gauges. I was so fed up with losing air out of the rear tire every time I tried to check the tire pressure on my EG because i could not get the gauge on at the correct angle. Used a screw on right angle valve extender but am currently building a second one using a dual rear wheel screw on flexible tire connector, bought a round analogue gauge with a pressure let down button (I suspect i am under pressure I just over inflate slightly and let down to target pressure) removed applicable internals, added an extra O ring to the screw on end and JB Welded the assembly together
