i have a solo buttcrack that i run on mine. finish is nice and fit is perfect. as for comfort i can pretty much ride all day on it. sorry dont have info on the specific seat your getting. but the quality of the seat is top notch.
I have the Danny Gray Big Seat, a solo seat, and their large pillion on an '08 RKC. No reviews on the pillion yet but the Big Seat is great. Nose is slightly more narrow than stock and seat height is maybe a touch lower but not real noticeable to me. The detachable back rest is very nice to have but takes me some time to line up and insert. It may get easier with time and experience on my part. It also works with the pillion.
The nose of the DG isn't as long as the stock seat so there's about a half-inch gap between the seat and the tank dashboard. I may fashion a piece of leather like a fender bib to cover the gap.
The seat is high quality leather and the sides of the seat are vinyl. I got the "gel" in the seat. It's more of a viscous foam I've been told than a gel. It won't leak and doesn't freeze. It absorbs some of the motor vibration and reduces fatigue on a long ride. Drag Specialties is a distributer for DG seats but if you want the gel you need to order from DG directly.
I picked one up on Ebay. Not certain but pretty sure it was from DK-Trader (Dennis Kirk outlet) and it is one of the best seats I have ever had. At least as comfortable as the stock "high-rise" seat that came with the King at about a third of the size. Perfectly fine for longer rides.
