Just filled up today and premium was $3.99/gallon. Riding the scoot I get 38 mpg and in the car I only get 21 mpg. So the fact that I can also use the carpool lanes the choice of what to take to work in the mornings is a no brainer!
My neighbor just bought a mini cooper S that gets an amazing 36 mpg on the highway. I've driven it and it is afast little car too! Might sell my G35 and buy the Cooper S to save on the gas too. Was actually considering buying a large SUV- but with gas prices rising with no end in sight there is just no way I would do it.
Joe, you're getting it! ONLY BUY WHAT YOU ACTUALLY NEED. In the UK people are starting to get the message, but some still continue to buy the SUV as some kind of big status symbol. Putting gas in the bike is really peanuts..... Ride and enjoy !
