Default Engine operating temperature

I see some posts on the 08's where they operate at 350 degrees(external head temp)and guys are happy to get them cooled down to 250 degrees.

What do the 07's run at?

What do the 06 and older TC 88's operate at?

I have an 06 TC88 with an oil temp gauge in place of the ambient air temp gauge, and mine has never been above 230 degrees. My motor/air/exhaust are all stock. Should I be trying to cool mine down? I thought I was good.

my 07 EGC runs at 230 also. ive been told that if it should run higher than 326 the engine will shut down to protect itself

350 is probably the max I would go.. actually myself I wouldn't go over 340 and would prefer to be around 300.This measurement is taken at the base of the spark plug.
An oil temp of 230 is not abnormal...
